Safe, Reliable Multi-line Fax Server

Dreamfax Server Runs as service within a Windows NT/2000/XP system, working closely with Windows-based User Authentication mechanism and Windows 2000 Server Active Directory.

 

Dreamfax Server supports various analog and digital intelligent faxing boards, and conventional fax modems. Up to 64 analog faxing lines and up to 4 E1 digital faxing interfaces are allowed.

 

 

Sending Faxes From Any Windows Program

Dreamfax provides a tool for sending faxes from any Windows applications that have printing capability. Simply switch from the default printer to the Dreamfax printer, and then print the document from the original application using the fax printer driver. Complete the fax addressing information in the pop-up dialogue box, and click Send – Your fax is on the way. You can also choose to preview your faxes before sending, attaching company letterhead, or personalize the cover sheets with your signature.

 

 

Send and Receive Office 97/2000 Files

Dreamfax server can accept files of a multitude of formats such as DOC, XLS, PDF, HTML, RTF, TXT, JPG and more. Simply send your files to Dreamfax Server. It will handle all the document conversion and send out faxes automatically.

 

 

Fax Messenger

The Fax Messenger feature keeps you updated with the status of your faxes. After every sending, Fax Messenger will generate detailed reports providing information such as delivery success or failure, date/time of faxes, number of pages of faxes, fax titles and much more. You will also be notified when a new fax arrives.

 

 

Automatic Fax Routing

Dreamfax Sever can automatically sort faxes and deliver them to their recipients. Dreamfax Server determine recipients based on DID/DTMF, CSID, Caller ID methods, or fax dates. When no decision can be made, the fax is defaulted to a dedicated fax inbox. Administrator can then preview the fax and manually send it to the correct recipient.

 

DID/DTMF – using caller’s DTMF numbers or numbers transmitted by means of ISDN/DID to determine recipient

 

CSID/Caller ID – using the CSID information retrieved by Dreamfax Server, or the caller’s ID to determine recipient.

 

When there are multiple telephone lines for faxing, the system routes an incoming fax based on the routing information built in the fax.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Fax Browser and Notes

With a built-in fax browser, Dreamfax client lets you preview your faxes during sending and receiving them. You can also use the included Dreamfax viewer to view and edit your faxes before you send or forward them to the receipients.

 

 

Managing the Dreamfax Client

The Dreamfax client tool is an Outlook-style personal fax organizer. In Dreamfax client, you can creat a number of different folders to sort and archive your faxes. Need to find a fax? It couldn’t be easier. With Dreamfax client, you can take advantage of lots of search criteria, such as date, recipient, fax number, fax titles, just to name a few. It’s equally simple to forward faxes to any contact in your address book.

 

 

 

Dreamfax Client Address Book

You can send faxes by selecting one or more addresses from the Dreamfax Client address book. You can also create group entries. Faxes sent to the entry will be delivered to all the persons in the group.

 

Dreamfax Client address book lets you import/export contacts that are previously stored in popular communications programs like Microsoft Outlook.

 

 

 

 

Management at the Dreamfax Server

Administrators can assign privileges to different users to gain control over users’ access to Dreamfax Server’s features. These privileges include sending/receiving faxes, using Email-to-Fax gateway, designating fax priority, dialing numbers that are limited to specific users. 

 

 

Dreamfax Administrator

Dreamfax Administrator is a monitoring tool designed to ease the server management burden. Administrators will be informed of each fax channel’s status, making sure if they are idle, overloaded, or processing faxing tasks. Other status being monitored included queuing of faxes, name of the sender or the sender’s workstation, progress of a particular task. You can choose to manually end or delete a task.

 

 

Fax logging

Dreamfax Server keeps record of every fax, sent or received, in the server’s database. Administrators can search logs for information they want about fax activities.
