Can our fax server receive and send by FaxModem?

     The differences between FaxModem and FaxCard:
          Intellectual fax card: The intellectual fax card is the fax card with is won CPU processor, compression of fax data, execution of document transportation and fax agreement are all finished by the micro processor on the card. The card supply each line 512K memory and reliable background operation without occupying the resource of main processor, making it fax while computer can process other task., execute all fax agreements accurately and reliably  and support real-time error test 

          Intellectual fax card supports compression way of advanced fax data(MMR),which may shorten the sending and receiving time of fax. It can supply 14400bps speed rate of sending and receiving fax time and supports V.17 and V.33 modulation, even if under the heavy noise situation, it also has transmission speed. Intellectual fax card supplies call treatment information, which makes user know why the sending fails and supplies line noise information, which can compensate for the poor quality of telephone lines.     Fax Modem card: Fax Modem is the modulation demodulator or card that supports CLASS 1.0、CLASS 2.0 fax, compression of fax data, execution of document transportation and fax agreement are all finished by the micro processor ,it occupies CPU resource and doesn’t support compression way of advanced fax data. The reliable and accurate execution of fax agreement depends on treatment ability of program and micro processor of the computer, thus Fax Modem can’t be competent for mass of fax working. It is generally connected with one road fax and used for single user, it is usually used to date telecommunication (like on internet, BBS and document transmission) and occasionally need receiving and sending fax.
         Advantage: Cheap price
         Disadvantage: Reliability, function and expansibility are poor.

My fax number is extension, how to dial when send fax?

Dial exterior line by extension, usually dial 0 or 9 firstly, there are two ways:
      (1) Start telephone function of interior line at the service end. Set the corresponding dialing prefix in the program of server management end like 9 or 0;in normal case, add one or more “，” signal after prefix to represent sound pause, whether or not add “，” mainly depends on enterprise group telephone. If so, when send fax, the customer end can directly fill in the fax number of the other party.
    
      (2) When send fax, customer will add exterior prefix before the fax number of the customer end, ex. 9,82050405 or0,82050405

How to send fax to the other party whose fax number is telephone exchange transferring to extension?

    Sometimes the fax we need sending is connected the telephone exchange of the other party, that is the fax of the other party is connected to the line of extension, Regarding to this, the machinery fax is realized by second dialing, To the fax server, we adopt the below two ways to send fax: 
         1.Dial by using “+”:When write fax, fill in the fax number blank with telephone exchange of the other party, then use “+” to separate extension from exchange, ex. “82050405+604”.
         2.Dial by using “，”, When write fax, fill in the fax number blank with telephone exchange of the other party, then use “,” to separate extension from exchange, ex. “82050405，，604”
         In the fax line or telecommunication fax standard agreement, “+”and “，” have very big difference: “+” represents the second dialing in real meaning like “P” on mobile telecommunication agreements, while “，” is just dialing delay, one “，” represents 1 second delay. In normal case, when surf on the internet by dialing, using “，” is very convenient, when send fax, “+” is comparatively stable because we are not sure the concrete answering time of the other party’s telephone exchange, if use  “，”,it is very possible that fax line send out fax extension number when the other party’s telephone exchange isn’t answering, if so, there is no way to connect the fax of the other party. Therefore, fax system suggest in normal care using “+” to realize second dialing.

Send long-distance at home and abroad, can I use IP telephone?

Yes.
         Set corresponding long-distance dialing prefix at home and abroad at the serve end, like  “17909，”,among which comma represents sound pause which can be flexibly adjust according to the time in every area. When send fax, the system can intellectually recognize long-distance fax number and automatically start IP channel to send fax.

The customer end can’t lodge in fax server?

Firstly, guarantee the network allocation is right, customer end is able to visit normally server, then check user’s fax authority, finally check that customer end input server URL connected address or not. When user lodges in fax server, they all need filling in server URL connected address, herein we suggest filling serve IP address, thus leave out the analysis progress that Windows network to server name, making lodge in much faster.

Can’t send DOC、EXCL、PDF etc. Document?

   When install program of fax customer end and server end, the installment program can automatically install virtual printer and service which will tell different forms of document automatically transformed into fax documents. In addition, Whether server installs Office2000、Acrobat etc. software or not because corresponding document format need transferring controls of these tools to carry on transformation.
